Position Overview

Walker White Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial Service Plumber to join our Columbia, SC team. In this role, you’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance for a wide range of commercial facilities, including schools, medical offices, corporate buildings, and retail spaces.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in quality work and delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system failures
• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing components
• Respond to emergency service calls in a professional and timely manner
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
• Coordinate with service coordinators and fellow technicians to ensure efficient service delivery
• Accurately document service work, materials used, and time entries
• Perform all work in compliance with safety standards and applicable codes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing service experience
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service mindset
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied environments (rooftops, crawl spaces, etc.)
• SC Journeyman or Master Plumbing License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
